Frozen Half-Shell Oysters
Plump oyster meat left sitting in its own half shell, with the natural liquor kept in place. Frozen at peak freshness so the briny-sweet character and creamy texture come through intact.
Why You Will Love It

- Cleaned to remove shell grit and debris
- No preservatives, additives or chemical treatments
- Serve chilled, bake, grill, broil, or drop into soup
How to Cook
Thaw slowly in the refrigerator while still packaged - never at room temperature, and do not soak the shells in water. Kept cold on crushed ice, they are ready to serve with lemon, mignonette or cocktail sauce. To bake, top with butter, garlic or cheese and cook at 200 C for 6 to 9 minutes until the edges curl lightly. On the grill, cook 5 to 7 minutes over medium heat, basting with butter and herbs.
Storage
Keep continuously frozen at -18 C or below. Do not refreeze after full thawing; once thawed, eat within 24 to 48 hours. Best finished within 9 months of proper frozen storage.
